The Design Engineer/Manufacturing Engineer will design and improve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components and systems, linking product design to production. The role supports new product development and continuous improvement of existing equipment and systems.
Responsibilities- Design and refine mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components & systems.
- Support new product development and continuous improvement of existing equipment & systems.
- Collaborate on the shop floor with technicians on redesigns.
- Apply reverse engineering and reengineering techniques.
- Utilize Solid Works along with product data management and ERP systems.
- Perform troubleshooting, problem‑solving, and quality analysis.
- 2+ years of Design Engineering and/or Manufacturing Engineering experience involving pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Fundamental knowledge of reverse engineering and reengineering.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Solid Works proficiency with experience in product data management and ERP systems.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem‑solving, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of FMEA, Lean Manufacturing, Value Engineering, and Six Sigma is a plus.
