The Caterpillar Technology Autonomy and Automation team is seeking a Lean 6 Sigma black belt to lead Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) projects to resolve critical customer issues. This role will lead projects related to multiple technologies withing the Caterpillar Mine Star portfolio of products. The role will play a key role in improving quality by leading managing, and supporting projects related to process and product improvements using Lean, Six Sigma and project management methodologies to achieve business goals.

* What You Will Do:

* + Partner cross‑functionally across the organization to lead projects to resolve critical customer issues.

+ Leading and managing Six Sigma project portfolios to achieve measurable business process improvements.

+ Providing technical training and guidance for Green Belt professionals on the planning, development and implementation of Six Sigma projects.

+ Employing Six Sigma methodology into organizational operations to meet business goals and objectives.

** Six Sigma Methodology:
** Knowledge of the concepts of six sigma DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control) methodology; ability to use the methodology to improve the manufacturing processes and control the improvements by eliminating root causes.

Experience with any of the Cat Mine Star Solutions

+ Prior product support experience with knowledge of publishing service magazines and technical bulletins

Experience with Azure Dev Ops to understand the status of work items

Experience with Power

BI to develop dashboards and find actionable insights

* + This position requires the candidate to work full-time at the Mossville, IL or Tucson, AZ office
