Works to diagnose, analyze, repair, and improve electronics and electro‑mechanics on DICKEY‑john products, processes, and systems. Communicates with internal and external customers by phone, email, or in person regarding technical problems and reports troubleshooting, repair and product test findings through written and oral reports.

• Analyze, diagnose, repair, improve, and support DICKEY‑john products, processes, and systems in accordance with technical standards.
• Provide technical and application advice to customers, sales personnel, representatives, distributors, and DICKEY‑john personnel via phone, fax, email, and in person.
• Perform technical duties in house to address internal and external customer product related issues.
• Support new product development, verification, and validation testing.
• Report troubleshooting, failure, and repair information via oral communication and written documentation.
• Provide feedback to other internal functions on the performance of DICKEY‑john products.
• Follow up with customers to resolve problems.
• Follow all safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions.
• Collect, compile, and record failure and repair data.
• Read and review technical diagrams and manuals as needed.

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 2+ years of relevant Technician experience required.
• Electronic Technical AA Degree or Certificate preferred with 0‑2 years relevant experience.
• In lieu of Technical AA Degree/Certificate, 2‑3 years electrical or computer engineering coursework as part of a Bachelor Degree preferred, with 0‑2 years relevant experience.

• Practical knowledge of farming, agriculture, or public works.

• 0‑2 years of experience in testing, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of PCA circuit boards and complex instrumentation preferred.
• 0‑2 years of experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical devices to the component level a plus.

Competitive market salary from $47,000 - $50,000 per year
* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities may be available and awarded at the discretion of the Company.
