About the Role

We are seeking a Project Manager - Bus Bar New Product Development to lead new product development programs from initial customer requirements through production launch. In this role, you will drive cross-functional execution across engineering, manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and operations to deliver programs on time, within budget, and in alignment with customer and business expectations.

You will serve as a key point of coordination between customers, internal teams, suppliers, and manufacturing sites, helping bring Bus Bar products from concept through launch. This role is ideal for a strong project leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and enjoys leading complex programs with cross-functional teams.

What You Will Do
  • Lead Bus Bar new product development programs from concept, quotation support, and prototype builds through validation, customer approval, and production launch
  • Build and manage integrated project plans, including milestones, deliverables, risks, dependencies, and recovery actions
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across product management, design engineering, manufacturing engineering, tooling, quality, supply chain, operations, and finance
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for program timing, scope, risks, change management, and launch readiness
  • Drive manufacturing readiness, including prototype builds, pilot runs, tooling development, process qualification, and production ramp-up
  • Support customer and internal deliverables related to APQP, PPAP, and launch approval requirements
  • Monitor project financials, including development spending, capital requirements, and cost-related risks
  • Identify and mitigate technical, supply chain, manufacturing, and commercial risks that may impact program success
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, program management, project engineering, or product development within a manufacturing environment
  • Experience leading new product development or new product introduction programs through production launch
  • Experience working directly with customers and cross-functional teams on technical requirements, timing, issue resolution, and launch deliverables
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Bus Bar products or related power distribution / interconnect products
  • Experience in automotive, EV, industrial, or other high-reliability manufacturing environments
  • Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, control plans, and structured launch processes
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as stamping, forming, welding, plating, overmolding, assembly, or test
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management training
  • Experience supporting supplier coordination, tooling development, capital readiness, plant transfers, or global launches

For this role, we anticipate paying $100,000- $150,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
