Reporting to the Permanganates Plant Manager, the Process Engineer will play a key role in driving long-term plant efficiency, reliability, and process stability through data analysis, technical expertise, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Here's what you'll own:
- Drive long-term improvements in plant efficiency and reliability by analyzing operational data and identifying trends that impact performance
- Anticipate and prevent process upsets or equipment failures through proactive monitoring and predictive analysis
- Lead and support root cause analysis efforts to eliminate production losses and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
- Serve as a technical advisor across operations, guiding process changes, equipment upgrades, and operating parameters
- Plan, evaluate, and support capital projects that enhance process performance, safety, and cost efficiency

What you bring:
- Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering or equivalent technical background
- 7-10 years of experience in a chemical plant or manufacturing environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret process data and identify improvement opportunities
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across technical and operations teams
Bonus points if you also have:
- Experience leading or supporting capital projects
- Prior experience in operations, maintenance, or technical support roles
- Exposure to root cause analysis and continuous improvement methodologies
