OverviewCollaborate with teams worldwide to develop and implement environmental programs, ensure regulatory compliance, analyze data, and communicate findings to operational leadership.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement environmental programs and practices to mitigate hazards and ensure compliance.
- Interpret, implement, coordinate, and maintain the regulatory compliance rhythm, including reporting and recording for applicable Federal, State, and Local environmental permits and programs.
- Analyze environmental data, self‑assessments, reports, and trends, and communicate findings and recommendations for corrective action to operational leaders.
- Build a broad knowledge of external environmental activities and technologies and understand how they relate to business operations.
- Evaluate complex regulatory challenges across environmental media related to dynamic manufacturing operations.
- Establish and cultivate a network of intra‑divisional support to facilitate completion of environmental assignments.
- Communicate environmental project and program status and results to operational leadership.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, or Environmental Engineering (completed and verified prior to start).
- Internships, co‑ops, or 1–2 years of related environmental or engineering experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
- Proven track record working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Leadership experience in previous roles, clubs, or extracurricular activities.
- On‑site work at the 3M facility in Cordova, IL.
- Domestic and international travel up to 10% of work time.
- Relocation assistance may be authorized.
Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B). Must comply with U.S. Export Control laws.

Pay RangeExpected compensation range: $81,983 - $100,202, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay if eligible.
