Water​/Wastewater Engineer - Project Manager

Water/Wastewater Process Engineer

Posting Locations: Normal, IL;
Peoria, IL;
Champaign, IL; or St. Louis, MO.

• Manage and design a variety of water and wastewater projects from planning through design, permitting, and construction
• Design water transmission and distribution systems
• Work directly with clients and a multi‑disciplinary design team to manage projects
• Assist with business development activities and preparation of proposals
• Planning studies and reports for the evaluation of project alternatives and condition assessments
• Modeling for water and sanitary sewer systems
• Booster pump station and lift station design
• Involvement with regulatory strategies and negotiations with permitting

• BS in Civil or Environmental Engineering;
  Master’s degree preferred
• 8‑15 years of Water/Wastewater Process Engineering experience
• Professional Engineer – PE License
• Passion for water and wastewater engineering
• Strong project management, communication, and organizational skills
• Understanding of chemistry and biology for treatment processes
• Team player who can manage and contribute to multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience with water and/or wastewater modeling software such as WaterCAD, Info Water, EPANET, GPSx preferred
