ResponsibilitiesThe Manufacturing Engineer Intern supports the Company Mission and Values by providing industrial and manufacturing support through the application of methods analysis and work measurement time studies, under moderate supervision.
Qualifications- Junior or senior working towards a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Industrial Management with an accredited engineering school.
- Basic knowledge of Lean principles.
- Strong initiative, interpersonal and team skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multi-task and work well under deadline pressure.
- Solid analytical skills.
Travel will be minimal.
Language SkillsAbility to read and interpret documents such as technical specifications, professional journals, and blueprints. Must have the ability to write routine reports and documentations, and be able to speak effectively within the organization.
Reasoning AbilityAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. To be successful one must have the ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer SkillsProficiency in the Microsoft Office suite specifically Outlook, Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint software.
Other SkillsProfessional e‑mail, written and oral communication is required.
Physical DemandsThe employee will frequently sit; use hands to finger handle or touch objects, tools, or controls; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach above shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move drawings, files, parts, components, and manuals, and will occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus.

The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in the office setting. The manufacturing environment will be noisy, climate is less controlled, and PPE will be required.
