As a Test Engineer at Danfoss Drives
, you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality power electronics and variable frequency drive products to customers around the world. Your work ensures every product meets rigorous performance and reliability standards before it leaves the factory. You’ll design and support automated test systems that enable efficient, scalable manufacturing. By combining engineering expertise with data‑driven insights, you’ll directly influence product quality, production efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
You’ll Be Doing
- Design, develop, and deploy automated production test systems for drives, power electronics, and PCB assemblies.
- Partner with cross‑functional teams to support new product introductions (NPI) and bring test solutions into production.
- Troubleshoot and improve test hardware and software to maintain stable, efficient manufacturing operations
. - Analyze production data to improve test coverage, yield, and overall product quality
. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives that reduce downtime and enhance performance across manufacturing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field; some experience in automated test systems, controls, PLCs, or production equipment preferred.
- Experience with test platforms (e.g., NI LabVIEW, Test Stand) and programming languages such as C# or C++.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to solve complex technical problems independently

- Base salary range: $65,000–$90,000 plus bonus and benefits. Additional benefits include 401(k) access, annual bonus, paid vacation, and insurance.
