Fire Marshal

Constellation Energy is seeking a Fire Marshal to lead fire prevention and life safety across our utility and energy operations. In this role, you will develop and enforce fire codes, conduct inspections of power generation and distribution facilities, and oversee testing of suppression and alarm systems. You will lead incident investigations, coordinate emergency response planning, and deliver safety training to employees and contractors.

The Fire Marshal will collaborate with operations, engineering, and local authorities to reduce risk, ensure regulatory compliance, and support Constellation's commitment to safe, reliable, and sustainable energy.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enforce fire and life safety policies and procedures
• Conduct routine and special fire inspections of plants, substations, and offices
• Review facility designs and modifications for fire code and NFPA compliance
• Oversee testing, maintenance, and documentation for fire detection and suppression systems
• Lead fire incident investigations and prepare corrective action reports
• Coordinate emergency response planning and drills with internal teams and local agencies
• Deliver fire safety and emergency response training to employees and contractors
• Maintain regulatory documentation and support audits by authorities having jurisdiction
• Assess risk and recommend improvements to reduce fire hazards in operations
• Advise leadership on fire safety standards, trends, and compliance requirements
