Process Engineer
The Process Engineer role, based in Hampshire, IL, focuses on driving industrial investment projects that enhance production performance, process safety, and operational excellence. You will contribute to strategic CAPEX projects of significant value, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, equipment suppliers, and engineering partners to design and implement robust, compliant, and efficient process solutions. This position plays a key role in ensuring high product quality, operational efficiency and reliability, and continuous improvement through technology and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Participate in process-related activities led by external engineering companies and internal project teams, ensuring alignment with project objectives and standards.
- Contribute to the development, review, and updating of process specifications, standards, and operating procedures to maintain safe, efficient, and compliant operations.
- Support process standardization efforts by helping define optimal work sequences and documenting best practices across production lines and projects.
- Perform detailed process reviews to identify technical and operational improvement opportunities, focusing on safety, quality, efficiency, and reliability.
- Carry out feasibility studies for production process improvements and contribute to the evaluation, selection, and implementation of recommended solutions.
- Contribute to knowledge sharing by preparing and maintaining technical documentation related to internal process standards and methodologies.
- Support process activities during both design and production phases, including process design, scale-up, validation, and troubleshooting of manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including operations, maintenance, quality, and R&D, to ensure that process solutions are practical, sustainable, and aligned with business needs.
- Promote process safety and regulatory compliance by integrating safety and quality considerations into all process design and improvement activities.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging process engineering and manufacturing best practices to enhance overall plant performance.
Essential Skills
- Master's degree in Chemical Engineering or Process Engineering.
- Strong interest in industrial processes and manufacturing environments.
- Experience or strong aptitude in process engineering, manufacturing engineering, or related industrial roles.
- Understanding of capital equipment and its role in manufacturing and process improvement projects.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in an international and multicultural context.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities applicable to complex industrial processes.
- Curious, proactive mindset with motivation to grow in a technical, project-oriented role.
- Fluency in English as the primary working language.

Pay and Benefits
