Location:

Mossville, IL 61552 Duration: 12 Months Daily Schedule 7.30 AM to 4.00 PM (40hrs per week)

Position's Contributions to Work Group:

• Electronic Component Project Engineer

Reason/motivation for request:

• Addition

Typical task breakdown:

• Support sustainment and obsolescence mitigation projects for legacy components, including risk assessment, alternate part evaluation, and documentation updates
• Support engineering changes by updating BOMs, coordinating validation/testing, and preparing technical evidence for design reviews
• Collaborate with suppliers and cross functional teams to resolve component availability issues and ensure long term product support

Interaction with team:

• Participating in project discussions
• Proactively attend obsolescence meetings and provide updates on project/task status
• Need to work with team of 9 people in US and 13 people in India and China

Team Structure:

Team of 22(US, India and China) engineers working on sustainment and obsolescence management of legacy electronic and electrical systems across products.

Work environment:

Full time In-Office position

Candidate Requirements Education & Experience

Required:

• Years of experience: 5 years BS Degree; 3 years if candidate has Masters Degree
• Degree requirement:
  Bachelors or Masters
