Job SummaryAs Local Event Staff, you’ll be a key part of our team, ensuring events run smoothly from setup to teardown. You’ll tackle a variety of tasks and support on‑site operations. The role offers opportunity for growth through training, with the possibility of advancing to an Event Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with setup, execution, and teardown of event activities, including lantern distribution, guest check‑in, and site preparation.
- Help manage and direct local staff and volunteers, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and on schedule.
- Provide friendly, professional assistance to attendees, answering questions and resolving minor issues to enhance their experience.
- Support the Event Coordinator with inventory checks, equipment handling, and other operational needs.
- Work closely with the core team to maintain a positive, organized environment and ensure all aspects of the event run smoothly.
- Engage in training sessions to learn event management skills, with the potential to advance to the Event Coordinator role.
- Age:
Must be 18 years or older. - Location:
Must live in or near the event area. - Experience:
Prior experience in event support, customer service, or team coordination preferred but not required. - Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
- Basic problem‑solving and organizational abilities.
- Availability:
Complete availability on event weekends. - Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, stand for extended periods, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions. - Attributes:
