JOB SUMMARYPrepares and provides financial data, projections and analysis to support management in decision making. Processes and reviews applications for Casino Credit and Check Cashing Privileges. Maintains and updates Casino Credit and Collection accounts. Assists with ensuring company and state exclusion programs are administered appropriately. Use of customer service skills with guests while ensuring confidentiality of guest's reports and files.
HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY- Responsible for accountability and collections for all returned markers and checks from the banks and subsequent re-deposit.
- Prepares, maintains and updates returned check files for each, noting collection attempts.
- Reviews applications for Casino Credit and Check Cashing Privileges.
- Review consumer credit report, bank accounts, gaming history and employment verification, as applicable.
- Solicits and enters bank information and credit information in patron’s credit file to determine customer limits.
- Updates collection attempts through patron contact.
- Maintain file of all returned checks sent to collection agency.
- Maintain file of all returned checks written off.
- Prepare daily report noting return checks and re-deposits of returned checks.
- Performs analytical reviews to ensure department processes are in compliance with accounting standards and ensures assets are properly safeguarded.
- Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures.
- Performs duties as assigned.
- Perform the duties and responsibilities associated with the IGB Statewide Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program as described in section A-9 of this Internal Control System.
- Perform the duties and responsibilities associated with the In-House Voluntary Self-Exclusion Program as described in section A-8 of this Internal Control System.
- Perform the duties and responsibilities of an Accounts Payable Clerk (A/P Clerk) as assigned.
- Additional analytical reviews and report production as requested or required by Finance management.
- Maintains source documents.
- Safeguard all corporate records.
- Assist independent auditors as required.
- Must assure exceptional customer service to all patrons by communicating in a pleasant, friendly and professional manner at all times.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related field. Further education a plus.
- Two years finance, credit, or comparable gaming experience. Knowledge of computer software: LMS, CMS, Infinium. Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word, Access and 10-key calculator.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills. Prompt, flexible working hours.
PHYSICAL:
- Communicate on a constant basis with the general public and staff via telephone system.
- Have manual dexterity to operate computer, typewriter, and calculator, fax machine and copy machine.
- Push and/or pull file cabinet drawers weighing five pounds (5 lbs.) to fifteen pounds (15 lbs.).
- Sit for long periods of time.
- Hear. Can be augmented with a hearing aid.
- See to operate computer and read reports and correspondence.
- Climb stairs repeatedly.
- Must be able to lift up to 40lbs.
- MENTAL
- Communicate verbally, clearly, and articulately.
- Work accurately with basic math.
- Understand and comply with Policies and Procedures, Job Description, daily memorandums, chemical labels and other instructions.
- Must be able to work under stressful conditions.
Must have the ability to hold an Occupational License as required by the Illinois Gaming Board.
