Überblick
As a successful Deputy Outsourcing Officer (m/w/d) you will ensure that outsourcings are managed reliably, transparently, and in full compliance with regulations. You will support the Outsourcing Officer in effectively implementing complex regulatory requirements and keep all outsourcing processes lean, well documented, and always audit ready.
Ihre Aufgaben:
- The representation of the Outsourcing Officer in all matters of outsourcing to external service providers, their monitoring and review within the German organization.
- Support in the implementation and further development of an appropriate outsourcing management and corresponding control and monitoring processes.
- Creation and maintenance of complete documentation of outsourcings (including onward outsourcings).
- Support of the outsourcing departments regarding the internal and legal requirements of outsourcings.
- Preparation of contract negotiations with service providers and coordination of contract contents with the legal department, risk manager, and data protection officer. Participation in the optimization of contract and supplier management processes.
- Coordination and review of risk analyses carried out by the relevant departments; identification, assessment, and proposal of measures to mitigate conflicts of interest; coordination of the planning of business continuity and exit strategy; provision of recommendations on whether outsourcing should continue beyond the planning phase and whether a specific outsourcing agreement should be signed.
- Ongoing management of outsourcing risk (including concentration risk); creation of outsourcing risk reports for other functions and the managing directors. Ensuring that outsourcing processes implement the internal policy for the retention of records; review and suggestions for changes to the outsourcing program.
- Support of the planning phase and risk assessment (including coordination and communication with other FDG functions), including evaluation of the criticality and materiality of the (planned) outsourcing.
Was Sie mitbringen sollten:
- Completed degree (Bachelor or Master), e.g. in business administration, economics, business law, or law.
- Several years of professional experience in a comparable position or in the regulated financial services environment.
- In-depth knowledge of the regulatory requirements for financial service companies.
- Experience in contract drafting as well as in dealing with SLAs and KPIs for managing service providers.
- Knowledge of IT service management, ideally in connection with IT outsourcings.
- Very good analytical and conceptual skills, strong communication skills, and pronounced assertiveness.
- Fluent German and English language skills.

- Professional certificates in compliance or related fields.
- Familiarity with regulatory authorities and their processes within the EMEA region.
