• Checks supplies and equipment needed for surgical procedures. Scrubs, gowns, and gloves for surgical procedures.
• Sets up sterile table with instruments, supplies, equipment, and medications/solutions needed for procedures, displaying knowledge of procedure and patient positioning.
• Performs appropriate counts with circulator prior to the operation and before the incision is closed.
• Gowns and gloves surgeon and assistants.
• Assists other team members with terminal cleaning of the room and prepping for the next patient.

Associate, High School Grad or Equiv (Required);
Technical/Vocational School (Required);
Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS); RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement;
State Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) - EV Accredited Issuing Body;
Technician in Surgery - Certified (NTSC) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
