Location: Naperville

Job Overview:
  • Seeking a dedicated and clinical-mined Medical Assistant to join the team. This role is a backfill for a high-energy team, focusing on providing top-tier patient care and clinical support.
Schedule
  • Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepares examination rooms for patient visits, including cleaning, sterilizing, and stock supplies.
  • Escorts patients to exam rooms and assists in obtaining pertinent information, which may include obtaining vital signs, weight, height, health history, chief complaint and symptoms.
  • Assisting physicians or APN during exams and procedures. Performing Point of Care testing, administering intramuscular and Sub Q injections, schedule appointments, manage patient flow, updating and maintaining EPIC, handling referrals and prior authorizations, and coordinating with pharmacies, labs, and imaging.
Requirements:
  • Previous Medical Assistant experience in a clinical setting is required
  • Proficiency in administering injections, performing EKGs, and the ability to take manual blood pressure
  • High School DIploma or GED
  • CMA
  • Recent EPIC experience
