Patient Transporter – Evenings​/Nights – Per Diem

Position Highlights

Hourly Pay Range: $17.86 – $25.00

Naperville
Shift: 6p to 2:30a with rotating holiday schedule and alternate weekends

• Education:
  
  High‑school diploma (required)
• Certification:
  American Heart Association BLS for healthcare provider OR American Red‑Cross CPR/AED for professional rescuer (required)
• Experience:
  
  Minimum six months of customer service or patient transporter experience
• Skills:
  
  Excellent communication, ability to maintain confidentiality, high energy, lifting over 50 lb, carrying 80 lb a distance of 30 ft, pushing/pulling 200 lb (e.g., patients on bed or stretcher), lateral transfer or maximum assist sit‑to‑stand transfer

Under general supervision and in accordance with established policies, you will transport patients via wheelchair, stretcher, bed or alternative means; disconnect and reconnect patients’ IV pumps from the IV pole and oxygen supply; deliver patient equipment to nursing floors as needed.
