Description

Full-Time | Hoyleton, IL

Salary Range: $68,993.60 - $86,242.00 per year

Hoyleton is seeking a clinical leader who believes that structure, compassion, and accountability can coexist, and that young people deserve all three. As our Manager of Clinical Congregate Care, you’ll guide the therapeutic direction of our residential and transitional living programs, ensuring that every youth we serve experiences a safe, trauma-informed, and developmentally focused environment.

This role is ideal for a licensed or license-eligible clinician who thrives at the intersection of direct care, leadership, compliance, and systems-level impact.

What Your Days Actually Look Like

You’ll spend most of your time supporting therapists, reviewing clinical work, and coordinating across programs and schools, with a regular presence in both Hoyleton and Fairview Heights.

  • Attend and lead monthly staffing and clinical meetings
  • Review case notes, treatment plans, and documentation for quality and compliance
  • Guide therapists in treatment planning, crisis response, and CARE/TCI application
  • Communicate regularly with schools, case managers, and program managers
  • Step in to support staff during short-staffed periods or complex situations
What You’ll Do

You’ll serve as the clinical backbone of our residential programs, partnering closely with the Director of Residential Services and the Director of Child Welfare to ensure care delivery is both therapeutically sound and operationally strong.

Clinical Leadership & Supervision
  • Recruit, supervise, coach, and evaluate residential and transitional living therapists
  • Address performance concerns and recommend disciplinary actions when needed
  • Identify training needs and contribute to the agency’s annual staff development plan
Program Oversight & Treatment Coordination
  • Lead clinical team meetings and staffing in alignment with agency guidelines
  • Oversee treatment planning, IATPs, and ICMPs for all residents
  • Ensure treatment is focused on stabilization, family involvement, and timely community reintegration
  • Consult with staff on complex behavioral needs and crisis response strategies
Compliance & Documentation
  • Ensure clinical documentation and Medicaid billing comply with Rules 132 and 140
  • Maintain records for case reviews, court hearings, and administrative reporting
  • Monitor performance data to support effective treatment planning and permanency outcomes
Safety, Culture & Crisis Response
  • Promote and model CARE principles and TCI practices
  • Support staff in maintaining safe, therapeutic environments
  • Assist with crisis de-escalation and physical intervention when required
Requirements Who We’re Looking For

This role is for a professional who can balance clinical integrity, regulatory compliance, and people leadership, without losing sight of the human impact behind every case file.

Required Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related human services field
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in high-acuity youth settings (e.g., congregate care, therapeutic schools, or combined developmental and behavioral health environments)
  • Eligibility for licensure (LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT)
  • Strong working knowledge of trauma-informed care and behaviorally complex youth populations
  • Ability to become TCI certified and serve as a CARE/TCI trainer
  • High level of interpersonal skill, confidence, and ability to lead in group settings
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance
  • DCFS/CANTS clearance eligibility
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
Preferred
  • Active LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT
