Job Summary:

The Physical Therapist Assistant works under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to implement treatment plans and assist patients in performing therapeutic exercises and rehabilitation programs.

• Assist patients with prescribed exercises and therapy activities

• Prepare treatment areas and equipment

• Monitor patient responses during therapy sessions

• Document patient progress and report to supervising PT

• Educate patients on exercise techniques as directed

• Maintain cleanliness and safety of treatment areas

• Accredited PTA qualification

• Valid registration (if required by regulatory body)

• Good interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work under supervision
