Shawnee Health is seeking a Billing Specialist for our Shawnee Health Remote Billing office. This position is fully remote. Directly to the Revenue Cycle Director
.
- Answers incoming calls to the department
- Performs follow up for collection of insurance for Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial and self-pay claims in an accurate and timely manner.
- High School Diploma
- Must live within a 50-mile radius of Carterville, Illinois
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial billing guidelines preferred
$16.00 - 18.00/hour, based on experience
