Wage Range: $17.00- $28.00
Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly organized and adaptable Medical Office Coordinator - Float to join our healthcare team in Maryville, IL. This role requires flexibility to support multiple medical office locations as needed, ensuring smooth daily operations and excellent patient service.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support across various medical office locations on a rotating or as-needed basis.
- Coordinate patient scheduling, registration, and check-in/check-out processes efficiently.
- Manage patient records and ensure accuracy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Serve as a liaison between patients, medical staff, and external vendors to facilitate communication and resolve issues.
- Assist with billing, insurance verification, and processing patient payments.
- Maintain office supplies and equipment, coordinating with vendors for timely replenishment and repairs.
- Support the implementation of office policies and procedures to improve workflow and patient experience.
- Handle phone inquiries and direct calls appropriately, providing excellent customer service at all times.
- High school diploma or equivalent;
Associate’s degree or higher in healthcare administration or related field preferred. - Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and adapt to changing environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
- Knowledge of medical terminology, billing, and insurance processes is a plus.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between office locations as required.
This position involves floating between multiple medical office locations within the Maryville, IL area. The role requires flexibility, strong time management, and the ability to quickly adapt to different office settings and teams.
Work Schedule:- Full-time, 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday.
