Qualifications & Desired

Experience:

• Valid and current Occupational Therapy license
• Experience providing occupational therapy support in a school-based setting preferred
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and requirements
• Effective communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments for students referred for occupational therapy
• Develop, document, and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to students' needs
• Collaborate with teachers and other educational staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities
• Monitor and report on student progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed
• Provide direct therapy both individually and in groups, addressing fine motor skills, sensory processing, and self-care activities
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting and progress discussions
