SALARY: $150,000 to $160,000

Description

The pharmacy is closed on the weekends and most major holidays.
Work Hours-9:00AM-5:30PM (Pharmacy will close 12:30-1:00PM for Lunch
On-Site Parking Available !!!

Primary Role:

Preparing and dispensing appropriate pharmaceuticals to patients, leading a team of pharmacy technicians and managing the overall day-to day pharmacy responsibilities.

Essential Job Functions:

Review and execute provider's prescriptions checking their appropriateness and legality
Organize the pharmacy in an efficient manner to make the identification of products easier and faster
Maintain full control over medication inventory, stocking and labeling medicine and other products and monitor their condition to prevent expiring or deterioration
Listen carefully to customers to interpret their needs and issues and offer information and advice.
Prepare medicine when appropriate using correct dosages and material for each individual patient
Maintain patient profiles and history of all activities regarding medications dispensed
Keep abreast and stay current with HIPAA and Frauds Waste and Abuse credentialing
Comply with all applicable legal rules, regulations, and procedures
Responsible for ensuring that the Pharmacy and its employees are compliant with Federal, State and Local laws regulated
Ensures that the Pharmacy and its employees are aware and compliant with local facilities policies
Responsible for directing the daily work of Pharmacy Technicians, this includes providing input into performance evaluations and advising Senior Management of any behavioral and/or performance issues.
Responsible for managing the Pharmacy Technicians schedules. This includes advising Senior Management of any request for leave of absences or medical accommodations.
Other duties as necessary

IDEAL CANDIDATE

Doctorate of Pharmacy Degree
Candidates should have min. 3 years' pharmacy manager experience.
Candidate should have previous retail pharmacy experience to be considered.
MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE Pharmacist License within the state of Illinois, we cannot consider anyone that is in process of getting their license and or have not received their license.
