Certified Nursing Assistant

Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team on night shift. Available shifts include 2 pm to 10 pm and 6 pm to 6 am. The ideal candidate will have experience providing care to residents in various settings, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and hospice care. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.

• Provide personalized care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
• Monitor and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, and blood pressure, to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to residents and their families, fostering a sense of comfort and well-being.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, ensuring seamless communication among healthcare professionals.
• Assist with mobility needs, including safe transfers to and from beds or wheelchairs, to promote independence and dignity.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols and maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement effective patient care plans, leveraging expertise and knowledge to deliver exceptional care.

• Prior experience with medical documentation systems is a valuable asset.
• Experience in specialized areas, such as memory care or hospice care, is beneficial in delivering high-quality patient care.
