We are looking for a doctor (M/F) to join our current team of four full-time equivalents.

The position is primarily focused on the Mobile Team of Palliative Care, Support Care and Palliative Care (EMASP) but can also be organized with a shared activity between EMASP and the Palliative Care Unit (USP).

The position is open to an activity at the Hauteville site, an integral part of the palliative care unit of the Bresse Haut Bugey Health Network (GHT).

The multidisciplinary team consists of doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, hospital service agents, psychologists, healthcare managers, secretary, psychomotrician, dietitians, social workers trained in different complementary practices (hypnosis, art therapy, empathetic touch, consciousness activation technique, clinical kinesiology…). Rehabilitation specialists may intervene on request (occupational therapist, speech therapist, physiotherapist, sports educator for adapted physical activity…).

We are looking for a general practitioner or specialist in palliative care, willing to invest in the care of palliative care patients, willing to invest in the management, deployment of ongoing projects, institutional life and teamwork.

Required diploma: DESC in pain medicine and palliative care or DIU or DIU in palliative care or experience in palliative care or doctor wishing to be trained in palliative care.

Team spirit and collegiality, communication, patient-centered approach with comprehensive care.

Recruitment conditions:

• Full-time or part-time hospital practitioner
• Contract practitioner
• Assistant specialist

Registration with the Medical Order is required to apply for this position.

Work time:

• Half-day count
• Participation in the HAD-palliative care on-call line
• Part-time possible

Training and professional project:

According to the candidate's needs and the service's projects, the establishment supports medical continuing education projects and the development of knowledge and skills, including university (DU and DIU).

Clinical research:

Very active in the field of clinical research, the CHB provides professionals with the means of its Clinical Research Unit to support various RC projects.
