Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - Join Our Team at Silvis Center Rehab and Care!

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team at Silvis Center Rehab and Care in Silvis, Illinois. As a PTA, you will play a vital role in providing high‑quality care to our patients, working closely with our physical therapists to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

As a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), you will:

• Assist physical therapists in the development and implementation of patient treatment plans
• Perform physical therapy treatments, exercises, and other therapies under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the physical therapist
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and home programs
• Maintain accurate and timely records of patient treatments and outcomes
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in physical therapy assisting or related field preferred
• Successful completion of a physical therapy assisting program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)
• Possession of a current Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in the state of Illinois
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment
• Must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays
