Certified Nursing Assistant; PRN

Position: Certified Nursing Assistant (PRN)
Location: Pinckneyville

Hourly salary of $19.80/hour.

We offer a PRN differential of $4/hour.

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Illinois Department of Corrections. We are currently seeking a Per Diem Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Pinckneyville Correctional Center in Pinckneyville, Illinois.

CNAs work under the close direction of nursing, medical and psychiatric staff to perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals. Assist patients by supporting personal hygiene, daily living needs and vital sign monitoring.

Schedule:

PRN, as needed

High School diploma or equivalentCNA or other medical paraprofessional certification requiredCNA licensure in IL required

Training, experience or certification as a nurse’s aide, medical technician or mental health worker preferred

One year of experience in acute care, long-term care, emergency or correctional setting preferred

Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLSAbility to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
