Key

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree or higher in Speech‑Language Pathology
• Valid state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech‑Language Pathologist
• Prior school‑based SLP experience preferred
• Ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
• Familiarity with IEP processes and special education team dynamics

Role Responsibilities:

• Assess students’ speech and language abilities, and provide direct and consultative therapy
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address communication and language needs
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support students’ IEPs
• Document progress and maintain compliance with Medicaid and state guidelines
• Offer guidance to teachers and parents for supporting students’ speech/language goals
• Adapt therapy to virtual or in‑person formats as needed
