Respiratory Therapist
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our acute care hospital team. The Respiratory Therapist will provide diagnostic, therapeutic, and life-support respiratory care to patients across a variety of inpatient units, including ICU, ER, Med/Surg, and specialty areas as assigned.
Multiple shifts available.
Key Responsibilities- Administer respiratory therapy treatments including aerosol, oxygen, and ventilator support
- Perform patient assessments and develop respiratory care plans
- Manage and monitor mechanical ventilation and non-invasive ventilation
- Respond to emergencies and participate in rapid response and code teams
- Perform arterial blood gases and interpret results
- Educate patients and families on respiratory care and equipment
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Active state Respiratory Care Practitioner license
- CRT or RRT credential
- BLS, ACLS, PALS (currently have or willing to obtain)
- Previous acute care or hospital experience preferred
Compensation info:
Shift differentials may be available for evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates.
