The Respiratory Therapist provides specialized respiratory care to patients with breathing disorders. They operate and monitor diagnostic equipment, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal respiratory health outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients to determine respiratory needs and conditions.
• Administer ventilator support, aerosol treatments, and oxygen therapy.
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot respiratory care equipment.
• Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments and self-care strategies.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and modify care plans.

Qualifications:

• Hold current licensure or certification as a Respiratory Therapist.
• Possess relevant clinical experience in respiratory care.
• Demonstrate proficiency in operating respiratory therapy equipment.
• Exhibit strong communication and patient education skills.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of respiratory therapies and protocols.
