Overnight Shift Requirements:
Monday through Wednesday 11pm- 8am & Sunday 8pm- 8am
Tuesday, Thursday 11pm-8am & Saturdays 8pm-8am

Position SummaryAs a Residential Direct Support Professional (DSP), you'll provide hands-on care and support to individuals in a residential setting, helping them develop life skills, achieve personal goals, and actively participate in their communities.
What You'll Do- Provide direct care and support based on Individual Support Plans (ISPs)
- Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including personal care, hygiene, dressing, feeding, and mobility
- Teach independent living skills and encourage personal growth
- Administer medications and prepare meals
- Transport individuals to appointments and community activities
- Complete daily documentation and progress notes
- Implement behavior support strategies and assist during crisis situations when needed
- Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive home environment
- Collaborate with families, healthcare providers, and team members
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience supporting individuals with intellectual, developmental, or behavioral disabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Valid Virginia driver's license with a clean driving record
- Reliable transportation and proof of insurance
- Ability to pass required background and registry checks
Preferred
- Medication Administration Certification
- CPR and First Aid Certification
- TOVA or other behavior management training
- Experience writing therapeutic documentation
