• Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited educational program.
• Active Illinois PTA license required to start the assignment.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term care setting preferred.
• Ability to follow treatment plans developed by a licensed Physical Therapist and document care according to facility and regulatory standards.

• Experience with transfers, gait training, and restorative nursing programs preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical record documentation preferred.

As a traveling PTA, you will support continuity of care in skilled nursing. You will assist licensed therapists in implementing treatment plans, promoting patient safety, and contributing to interdisciplinary care goals. You will have opportunities to work in varied clinical environments and expand clinical skills while delivering evidence‑based interventions.
