Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - Silvis, Illinois

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team at Silvis Center Rehab and Care, a leading provider of healthcare services in Silvis, Illinois. As a PTA, you will play a crucial role in our rehabilitation department, working closely with our interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care and achieve exceptional outcomes.

As a Physical Therapy Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to assist our licensed Physical Therapists in providing compassionate and effective patient care. Your day will be filled with a variety of tasks, including:

Patient Care: Assisting patients with exercises, stretches, and activities to help them achieve their rehabilitation goals
• Treatment Preparation: Setting up equipment, preparing treatment areas, and ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients
• Communication: Maintaining open lines of communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care
• Documentation: Accurately documenting patient progress, treatment plans, and any changes in condition

• Education: Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

• Experience: 1+ year of experience as a Physical Therapy Assistant or related field

• Licensure/Certification: Current PTA licensure in the state of Illinois
