Occupational Therapist School - Highwood, IL

Bring your expertise in pediatric occupational therapy to a fulfilling contract role working with students in elementary and middle school settings. This full-time position (40 hours per week, Monday through Friday) offers the opportunity to make a lasting difference by supporting young learners' development and success at school.

• Valid Illinois Occupational Therapy License
• Experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy settings preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, educators, and families
• Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student needs
• Knowledge of current best practices in OT for school-aged children

• Deliver specialized occupational therapy interventions to empower students in academic and functional skills
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student progress and inclusion
• Evaluate students and write reports to support Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Monitor and document student progress towards goals, maintaining up-to-date records
• Provide consultative guidance and training to classroom staff as needed
