Provide extraordinary hospitality to all guests and visitors through efficient and timely reservations, check-ins/check-outs, as well as proactive handling of guest needs.
Responsibilities:- Efficiently and professionally handle guest reservations and room assignments, accommodating special requests whenever possible, in a manner consistent with the company’s rate structure and policies.
- Register and assign rooms to guests, issue room keys, and keep accurate online records of assigned rooms.
- Follow check-out processes, ensuring that guest wait times are minimal and that statements are accurate. Collect payment from departing guests and provide receipts.
- As needed, respond to inquiries regarding future reservations for rooms and assist guests with dining and special event reservations.
- Act as telephone operator, answering calls, and responding to caller needs or routing them to the appropriate person or department.
- Respond calmly and professionally to all guest complaints, resolving issues as appropriate and escalating to management when necessary.
- Keep front and back-office areas organized and clean.
- Communicate with emergency responders, when necessary, in a calm and effective manner.
- Assist other team members by sharing knowledge of the park and surrounding area.
- Understand the company’s ISO (Environmental & Quality) management systems, policies, goals, and initiatives and meet the specific responsibilities within these areas.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Provide excellent customer service to meet and exceed customer expectations
- Must be able to present a positive image of the company in an upbeat, professional manner
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to multitask, utilize time wisely, and work independently
- Must be able to work a variety of day, night, weekend, and holiday shifts
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent required
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of experience in a customer service role
Previous hotel/resort front desk experience preferred
