We are looking for a dependable part-time HR Coordinator to support essential human resources activities for a growing organization in Oak Brook, Illinois. This contract opportunity offers a part-time schedule and the chance to contribute across onboarding, employee support, benefits, and HR administration in a fully onsite environment. The ideal candidate brings at least 2 years of related experience and enjoys keeping processes organized, accurate, and employee-focused.

Responsibilities:

• Manage onboarding logistics for new employees, including collecting required paperwork, coordinating pre-employment steps, and helping ensure a smooth start experience.
• Maintain accurate personnel documentation and update employee records in HR systems and files with a high level of confidentiality.
• Assist with benefits-related administration by processing enrollments, status updates, and separations while responding to routine employee questions.
• Provide payroll support through timely data entry, verification of employee information, and coordination of related records.
• Help monitor HR documentation practices to support compliance with internal policies and employment requirements.
• Serve as a point of contact for day-to-day HR inquiries, offering attentive assistance and directing employees to the appropriate resources when needed.
• Support general administrative activities for the HR team, including scheduling, document preparation, and coordination of ongoing tasks.
• Contribute to pre-employment screening coordination and related hiring support to help keep pre-employment processes on track.
