Team Lead, IT​/Tech

The Team Lead will be responsible for supervising a team of support engineers or technicians delivering IT services in Service Desk, AV Maintenance, or Cellular Operations. The role requires hands‑on technical expertise, team coordination, and a focus on operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

• Lead a team of support specialists providing end‑user IT, AV, or mobile device support.
• Monitor daily operations, ensuring adherence to SLAs and quality standards.
• Act as the first point of escalation for technical or operational issues.
• Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and training sessions.
• Coordinate with Operations Managers and other leads to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Maintain documentation, reports, and knowledge base updates.
• Support event setups, AV maintenance, and device provisioning as required.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.

• 8+ years of experience in IT support, AV operations, or cellular device management.
• Prior experience leading small to mid‑sized technical teams.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
• Familiarity with ITSM tools (Service Now, Jira, etc.) and ITIL practices.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, client‑facing environment.
• Experience with enterprise clients (Google or similar) is a plus.

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $173,800. Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
