SummaryAnalyze business systems and design databases and programs for computer applications. Code, test, and debug databases/ programs based upon user specifications. Develop and maintain reports according to user requests and specifications.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSkills and Abilities
Knowledge of the principles, practices, and techniques of computer programming and systems analysis; of mathematics; of computer operations procedures and systems; and of computer programming languages, including applied knowledge of Microsoft Office products, VB .Net, SQL, and Crystal Reports.
Ability to process information logically; to design programs and systems logic; to prepare program specifications; to code, test and debug computer programs; to interpret technical information relating to computer programming and other areas of data processing; to perform mathematical calculations; and to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical individuals.
Must be able to communicate and work well with end-users.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESNone
WORK ENVIRONMENTUsual office working conditions with moderate noise such as computers and printers, telephones and copy machines.
Minimum QualificationsAssociates Degree in technical or related field and a minimum of 3 years of related training and experience or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
