Role OverviewCHAMPRO is seeking a hands‑on Senior Infrastructure Engineer to drive our technical roadmap and maintain our multi‑site infrastructure
. This is a "player‑coach" role for a high‑level individual contributor who thrives on hands‑on execution
, serving as the final technical authority for our global team. Only accepting U.S. citizens or Permanent Residents. Cannot offer sponsorship for this role.
- Serve as the Tier 3 escalation point for local and international teams. Assist with root‑cause diagnosis and architectural execution across multiple time zones.
- Build and optimize Hyper‑V clusters (CSV/High Availability), manage SAN storage (iSCSI), and oversee on‑premises Domain Controllers (GPO/DNS).
- Direct management of IIS and load‑balancing strategies to ensure 24/7 availability for business‑critical traffic.
- Assist with transition from Sonic Wall to Fortinet; manage BGP routing, site‑to‑site VPNs, and Uni Fi wireless deployments via both GUI and CLI.
- Execute migrations to Azure File Share; support the infrastructure backbone for our Net Suite ERP transition and integrate AI tools (Git Hub Copilot, Gemini, Anthropic) into the workflow.
- Full ownership of Logic Monitor for proactive visibility and Entra /Duo for hardened identity management.
- Deep experience with Hyper‑V, IIS, Power Shell automation, and SAN management.
- Expert‑level knowledge of Fortinet/Sonic Wall, BGP protocols, and enterprise networking.
- Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Entra , Duo, and Azure/OCI environments.
- Proven ability to create clear, actionable system documentation for international teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or equivalent high‑level technical experience.
- 40 hours per week.
- 100% On‑site in Bannockburn, IL.
