Overview

The mid-level dashboard developer works with data-rich environments to turn complex data into valuable information. This role supports the defense industry by collaborating with customers to understand questions, explore data, and develop dashboards and analytics that inform decision making.

Responsibilities
  • Develop dashboards and data visualizations to present insights from structured and unstructured data.
  • Analyze data to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities; apply algorithms and machine learning techniques as appropriate.
  • Design and implement ETL pipelines to transform and integrate data from diverse sources, ensuring data quality and accessibility.
  • Collaborate with customers and cross-functional teams to understand questions, gather requirements, and translate them into actionable insights.
  • Develop scripts and automate processes to maximize efficiency and reproducibility of analyses.
  • Present insights to senior leadership and stakeholders; communicate complex results clearly and concisely.
  • Mentor or guide junior team members as needed in a matrix environment.
Basic Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience with data science or analytics.
  • Active Secret clearance.
  • BA or BS degree.
  • Experience with data science or analytics projects and building analytical models, including forecasts, cost models, and historical trend analyses.
Preferred/Additional Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of distributed computing frameworks; hands-on experience with Databricks, SQL, and Spark.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing ETL pipelines; experience with data visualization and BI tools (e.g., Qlik, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Advanced programming skills in Python for data processing and analytics.
  • Ability to present insights effectively to senior leadership and collaborate across functions.
  • Excellent time management, organizational skills, and ability to manage competing priorities in a matrix environment.
  • Experience integrating structured and unstructured datasets for actionable insights.
