A Brief Overview

The Digital Content Specialist aligns website content, user experience (UX), and technical best practices to improve discoverability, engagement, and conversion while maintaining a clear, consistent brand voice.

What You Will Do
  • Manage day‑to‑day website operations, including creating and editing pages, maintaining site structure and navigation, archiving outdated content, and ensuring on‑page optimization, accessibility, and brand consistency.
  • Develop, edit, and proof content for web pages and resource articles ensuring accuracy, relevance, and alignment with brand guidelines, user intent, and channel best practices.
  • Analyze traffic, engagement, and conversion data to identify opportunities; test and refine content and SEO/GEO tactics.
  • Conduct keyword research, implement on‑page and technical SEO best practices (metadata, internal linking, page speed, indexing, broken links), and use analytics/SEO tools to monitor performance, report insights, and recommend improvements.
  • Receive and complete website maintenance tickets, with a content‑first strategy.
  • Work closely with marketing automation specialist and social media specialist to ensure consistency across digital channels.
Other Qualifications / Requirements
  • Ability to create and publish website content using Word Press.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofing skills using AP style.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and an understanding of analytics and emerging technology.
  • Ability to use SEO tools to identify content to be improved.
  • Stay current with industry trends, search algorithm updates, and new technologies to continuously enhance performance.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication, Web Design and minimum 2 years website management including SEO, Google Analytics, and content management systems preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 2 years creating engaging digital content across multiple platforms preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
