Responsibilities• Design and implement ETL pipelines and distributed computing solutions with Databricks, SQL, and Spark.
• Build robust analytical models, forecasts, cost models, and trend analyses.
• Develop machine‑learning algorithms and scalable scripts in Python.
• Create intuitive dashboards with Qlik, Tableau, or Power BI to provide clear, actionable insights.
• Present findings to senior leadership and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
• Mentor and review work of junior developers as needed.
- 2+ years of experience in data science or analytics.
- Hands‑on expertise in Databricks, SQL, Spark, and distributed computing frameworks.
- Proficiency in designing and implementing ETL pipelines.
- Strong data visualization and BI skills using Qlik, Tableau, or Power BI.
- Advanced programming in Python with efficient, scalable scripting experience.
- Experience with forecasts, cost models, and trend analyses.
- BA or BS degree.
- Active Secret clearance (or ability to obtain).
- Excellent communication, time‑management, and organizational skills.
- Curious, independent thinker with a passion for solving challenging problems.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and Python for integrating structured and unstructured data.
- Experience facilitating BI‑tool training for self‑service analytics.
- Understanding of data‑management practices within the DoW environment, including SQL or SAS.
