SAP Functional Consultant

Requirements

• We require a bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, or a related field.
• We are looking for at least 3 years of SAP experience, including hands‑on work with SAP S/4
  
  HANA implementation, enhancement, or transformation initiatives.
• Experience contributing to one or more ERP implementation or migration projects is required.
• Strong knowledge of finance processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Costing, and Financial Reporting, is essential.
• Hands‑on experience with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Copilot, or similar business intelligence and analytics tools is required.
• Experience gathering business requirements, facilitating User Acceptance Testing, and supporting change management is required.
• Strong analytical thinking, process mapping, and business process improvement capabilities are required.
• Preferred experience includes SAP Fiori, SAP Analytics Cloud, or embedded SAP analytics.
• Familiarity with AI‑enabled reporting and the Microsoft Power Platform is an asset.
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or supply chain environments is preferred.
• Exposure to data governance and master data management initiatives is an advantage.

Responsibilities:

• We lead and support Finance‑focused SAP S/4
  
  HANA implementation, stabilization, and ongoing improvement efforts.
• We define reporting needs, chart of accounts structures, master data frameworks, and finance process standards.
• We coordinate UAT, user training, change management, and post‑launch enhancements.
• We identify opportunities to apply AI and automation to streamline finance workflows and strengthen operational efficiency.
• We build dashboards, KPI reporting, and scalable analytics solutions using Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Copilot, and related platforms.
• We design automated reporting for inventory, Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable, cost management, and operational performance.
• We safeguard data accuracy, governance, and consistency across SAP and enterprise systems.
• We assess current finance processes, reinforce internal controls, and recommend technology‑enabled improvements.
• We collaborate with Finance, IT, Operations, and other stakeholders to deliver solutions that support strategic decision‑making.

We are seeking a SAP Functional Consultant to join our transformation team in Markham, Ontario, working onsite five days per week.

This role offers a salary of $80,000 to $95,000, plus profit sharing, RRSP, and benefits. You will play a key part in a major SAP S/4

HANA finance transformation, working at the intersection of business, technology, and analytics to modernize systems, improve reporting, and deliver meaningful enterprise‑wide impact using AI‑driven and data‑focused tools.
