Light Grid is hiring for a JRSS NOC Technician III to work on site at Scott Air Force Base, IL. Must be open to rotating shifts. Primary responsibilities include performing and training the team on network operations, analyzing customer traffic across the MPLS and JRSS infrastructure, performing real-time customer failover to restore services during outages and maintenance actions, working directly with customers and peers to ensure maximum network availability, proactively monitoring network alarms, performing change management tasks, utilizing incident management applications, and assessing and identifying resolutions to various network incidents leveraging knowledge in routers, switches, routing protocols, MPLS, VPN technologies, IDS/IPS, proxies, network taps, load balancing, firewalls, and out-of-band management.

Basic qualifications include an active DoD Secret security clearance, DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification, a high school diploma, and at least 2-4 years of experience. Ability to work in a 24/7 operation and experience with alarm surveillance, fault management, LAN maintenance, performance management, routers, switches, routing protocols, CISCO, Juniper, MPLS, and general understanding of network topologies.
