Assistant Manager

Beck Oil Company of Illinois is seeking an Assistant Manager for our tech-forward Lincoln location. In this role, you'll support daily store operations while ensuring our retail technology, POS, and back-office systems run smoothly. You'll supervise and coach staff, coordinate scheduling, and drive excellent customer experiences. Partner with leadership and IT teams to troubleshoot issues, analyze performance data, and implement process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations and technology systems, including POS and back-office tools.
• Supervise and coach staff to deliver high-quality customer service and operational excellence.
• Coordinate schedules, task assignments, and shift coverage for the Lincoln location.
• Monitor and analyze sales and performance data to improve processes and results.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, cash handling, and IT/security procedures.
• Partner with IT and leadership to troubleshoot system issues and implement tech upgrades.
• Assist with inventory control using digital tools and maintain accurate records.
• Contribute to a culture of innovation, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
