Accent Controls, Inc. (ACI) is seeking a part‑time, non‑exempt, 2nd‑shift Stock Clerk for the Defense Logistics Agency Distribution, located in Cherry Point, North Carolina.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Stock Clerk is responsible for executing the daily tasks associated with the maintenance of the Site's stock record accountability and inventory accuracy goals, including maintenance of stock integrity, readiness, accuracy, quality control sampling, and process adherence for warehoused accountable material.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understand and meet productivity goals in the assigned functional area.
• Follow established guidelines in performing routine tasks according to Standard Operating Procedures, Job Breakdown Sheets, training plans, and quality control plans.
• Understand the acceptable performance levels and work expeditiously to meet contractual and team goals.
• Perform all aspects of storage management functions such as receiving, checking for damaged goods, recording goods received, and entering correct information into the WMS.
• Stow receipts in appropriate storage areas and verify stock accuracy.
• Pick and pack customer requisitions/orders, verifying accuracy against requisition documentation.
• Communicate system discrepancies to the compliance team.
• Use email to receive and disseminate workload tasks and communicate professionally with co‑workers and management.
• Maintain a safe and secure work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned in association with established management and contract compliance plans.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of WMS training, OSHA compliance and DLA SOP training.
• Must be U.S. citizen; possess a valid driver's license.
• Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English.
• Training and experience processing hazardous material a plus.
• Military or DLA distribution experience preferable.
• Ability to lift at least 45 pounds and operate a forklift.

Working conditions include working on concrete floors, in drafty areas, and exposure to fumes, fluids, dirt, battery acids, etc. Protective wear and safety equipment are required.

Physical and mental demands include standing, squatting, lifting (up to 50 pounds), carrying, walking, pushing and pulling, problem-solving, data interpretation, organization, reading, and writing.
