Operations Manager

This position supports CAT’s material flow needs at LINC, a subsidiary of Universal Logistics.

• Lead and support warehouse teams to meet daily goals in a fast‑paced CAT operation.
• Oversee inbound and outbound material flow, inventory accuracy, and overall warehouse organization.
• Use performance data and KPIs to improve processes and keep production support running smoothly.
• Maintain strong safety and quality standards while promoting a positive team culture.
• Coordinate with customer service, transportation, and planning to ensure materials move on time.
• Drive productivity, manage labor effectively, and support cost‑control initiatives.
• Oversee staffing, training, and scheduling to meet operational needs.
• Communicate with clients and vendors to maintain strong service relationships.
• Quickly address operational issues to prevent delays or production impacts.
• Report key performance results and improvement actions to leadership.

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field (preferred; equivalent experience considered).
• 5+ years of experience in logistics, warehouse, or distribution leadership.
• Demonstrated success in leading teams, coaching employees, and building a positive work environment.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control processes, and material flow.
• Proficiency with WMS/TMS systems and general Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
• Comfortable making decisions, driving accountability, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
