Location: Hopedale

Hopedale Medical Complex is seeking a detail-oriented Central Supply Clerk to support our rural healthcare campus. In this role, you will receive, store, and distribute medical and facility supplies for the hospital, clinic, and senior living areas. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate inventory records, rotating stock, tracking expiration dates, processing purchase orders, and delivering supplies to departments. You will collaborate closely with nursing, therapy, and support teams to ensure timely availability of materials, support regulatory and safety standards, and contribute to efficient, compassionate, community-based patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming medical and facility supplies against purchase orders.
  • Store and organize supplies in central supply areas following safety and infection control guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts, records, and documentation in inventory systems and spreadsheets.
  • Monitor stock levels, rotate inventory, and track expiration dates to minimize waste.
  • Pick, pack, and deliver supplies to hospital, clinic, and senior living departments in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with nursing, clinical, and support teams regarding supply needs and backorders.
  • Assist with preparing and processing purchase requisitions or orders as directed.
  • Keep central supply areas clean, safe, and well organized to meet regulatory and facility standards.
  • Participate in periodic physical inventory counts and audits.
  • Support continuous improvement of supply chain processes to enhance patient care and efficiency.
