Title:

DC Logistics Operations Specialist (focus: SAP order processing, shipping/receiving)
Team:
Small, highly collaborative; senior individual contributor, no direct reports

Partner:
Works closely with the DC Manager to execute day-to-day operations

Accurate SAP transactions ensure inventory integrity and financial correctness.

Real-time coordination with carriers and internal teams prevents delays and rework.

What you’ll do Execute daily shipping and receiving; complete all documentation and system postings.

Run SAP transactions for shipping, receiving, and order management, including allocation and PGI (post goods issue).Coordinate schedules, changes, and delivery updates with Sales, Customer Service, Production, Supply Chain, Transportation, and external carriers/drivers.

Prepare bills of lading and related shipment paperwork.

Support truck planning, load sequencing, and shipment coordination.

Respond to inventory inquiries and assist with customer service tickets.

Assist with cycle counts and reconciliation to resolve discrepancies.

Maintain precise records; uphold data integrity across systems.

Manage sample shipments and small parcels (e.g., UPS).Assist with additional DC tasks as needed.

Microsoft Office proficiency:
Teams, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Experience and education

High School diploma or GED required;
Associate’s degree or higher in a related field preferred.
2–3+ years of hands-on SAP experience concentrated in shipping, receiving, and logistics workflows.

Experience supporting distribution center or warehouse operations.

Experience working with carriers and drivers, plus internal teams.

APICS/CPIM or similar certification is a plus (not required).Core competencies
